Guest post: Everything for the woman

Today on the blog, I have a very special guest blogger called Borislava. She and her friends run a very successful Facebook page and blog, called 'Everything for the Woman' or 'Всичко за Жената' in Bulgarian, and I liked the ideas that they post so much, that I thought I would ask Borislava to do a little post for Straight Up Style.

First though, a little bit about 'Everything for the Woman' in Borislava's own words:

'I have always been interested in fashion and pretty girly things, but my profession is not connected with style at all, so it more a hobby of mine. It all started while I was studying for my final university exams in June 2011 - everyone knows that when you have to study you do everything else but the actual studying. I have a big photo collection and decided to share it with other girls, so I created the Facebook page and started posting. I never believed that so many girls will join the page. After the first month I realised that I will need more help keeping the page alive. After a while, two of my own friends joined to help me and we have been running the page ever since, until this month, when they left to take internships abroad. So for now I will try to keep up with the page and the blog (which we created several months ago) alone. The blog is a mixture of crafty and DIY ideas which we found online and various tutorials (hairstyle, nail art or interior design). It also features an "Outfit of the Day" column, in which we present an outfit we like from fashion bloggers all over the world'.

Borislava has put together three inspiration boards based around the 'boho' look, which I personally love and will definitely be trying out this summer. For more about 'Everything for the Woman', check out the Facebook page here, the blog here and you can follow them on Twitter: @vsichko_za_jena.

Chain Mail

I've posted about this dress before, and it was far too hot for it in Barbados, but I really liked it in combination with one of my favourite clutches (from Primark from last year), and these wedges. The best part is the belt, which can be used with lots of other outfits. I'm now back to the European drizzly spring weather - more Barbados posts to come though!

Getting on to sunset

Another holiday outfit from my stay in Barbados. I don't really feel much like dressing up when it's hot, so my  warm weather outfits mostly consist of casual flats and shorts like these. More to come soon!

Island Dreams

Greetings from the beautiful island of Barbados! The weather is tropical, the sun is shining (sorry to all you folks enjoying the chilly spring weather!) and here is a little outfit post from yesterday. The dress is a really old purchase from New Look, as are my shoes. Hope you guys are having a great week!

Into the Night...

Hopefully, as you guys are reading this, I will be on my way to a relaxing, sunny destination for the next week. How I could do with some sunshine! So this coming week the blog might be a little bare, but I will try and update you from my travels if there is Internet. Hope you all have a great weekend - I'm leaving you with these great pictures from a recent shoot by Australian brand Stylestalker, named 'Into the Night'. For this shoot, Stylestalker channeled, in their own words, 'Kate Moss getting ready for a night out'. The dresses, make-up and photography is to die for! Hope you like it as much as I do. Check out Stylestalker's blog here.

Easter Instagram Diary

I haven't done one of these in a while, so here are my last few days/weeks in Instagram pics. Easter included lots of yummy food and chocolate eggs (as you can see, most of the pictures are of food!). The last two pics on the bottom right are from the Afghanaid charity fashion show (backstage), and the third from the top left is of one of the gorgeous H&M Conscious Glamour Collection dresses which I tried on yesterday. However, the price tag of €200 was a bit too steep for me! I did end up buying a bikini though (pictured below), for a beautiful destination which I will be going to on Saturday for a week....

Introducing StyleCard

For all you shopaholics out there, you'll definitely want to check out StyleCard - the brand new and best website around for all your modish needs.

The basic idea is that you buy a so-called 'style card' which then gives you loads of discounts on some great online and in-store brands. There will be lots of brands that you know, and some which you don't, all of which makes for some exciting fashion discoveries.

That's not all though - you can read great daily content on their website, including reviews, trends, and all things fashion and beauty-related. I'll also be blogging on there from time to time :) Early birds get the worm though - the first 1000 people to buy a StyleCard will get a highly sought-after Lux Box with their card. If you don't fancy buying a card just yet though, simply register on the site and get a £10 voucher to spend at Sarenza

Hope to see you guys interacting with StyleCard's great fashion portal and, of course, enjoying some great discounts!

Rose-tinted glasses

Hope everyone in the UK has had a lovely Easter weekend! Here are some pictures of today's gorgeous weather with my favourite lace dress and polka dot tights combo of the moment. I never really wear navy blue, but I love it on this dress, and the sleeves are pretty cool too.

Blocks & Stripes

Another day, another Primark dress makes it debut. Absolutely love this dress, even more so for the fact that it is very Holly Fulton-esque with the stripes and block patterns. Can't wait to wear it without tights in the summer.
