You may have been aware about the Afghanaid charity event which I took part in last night from this post. Various jewelry and clothes designers got together for a night of entertainment, all with the help of raising money for Afghanaid. The precious stones in the jewelry were from Afghanistan and were absolutely stunning - I had a great time meeting the other models and organisers of the event and finding out a bit more about what Afghanaid does. What could be better than a night of fashion and fun, all for a good cause? The best part by far was getting to wear traditional Afghan costume, which was stunning with all its bright colours and detailing. To find out more about Afghanaid or the even held last night, visit their website: http://www.afghanaid.org.uk/.
