Juicy Couture x Fifi Lapin

Hot pink, bunny masks, cupcakes and funky beats were the order of the day at the cute and funky Juicy Couture x Fifi Lapin event last night. As someone who was a bit clueless about the brand before, I was pleasantly surprised by their new collection, which has a much more summery/LA vibe feel to it (you may remember the campaign from this post). Bright colours and bold patterns were a staple of the collection, which I thought blended well its laid-back California vibe with the refined silhouettes and cuts of the garments. The dresses and bags were my favourites, especially a cute yellow number with flowers (pictured below). I was impressed and I think this collection would just sit perfectly with a hot and bright summer's day. Of course there was a lot more than just the clothes to gawk at - Juicy treated us with specially-made Fifi Lapin cup-cakes, mojitos and a photo-booth with an inbuilt wind machine which caught me somewhat by surprise (see my photo-booth pictures below). A thoroughly enjoyable evening!

Wildfox s/s 2012

I can safely say that the latest Wildfox campaign for s/s 2012 combines perfectly three of my favourite things - beaches, pink and Hawaii (since the campaign is shot there on location). Shot by photographer Mark Hunter and featuring prominent model Charlotte Free, this campaign (as always) captures Wildfox's aesthetic of laid back, fun loving pieces perfectly. And isn't it just the best thing to cheer you up while temperatures outside are plummeting...all I can say is, I really hope that summer hurries up!

Juicy Couture S/S 2012

The new Juicy Couture campaign is upon us, and this time the brand has got us hooked with its LA, relaxed, sun-kissed vibe. Shot by famed photographers Inez & Vinoodh, and featuring gorgeous model Anna S, the campaign really showacases what Juicy Couture is all about - attitude, glamour, confidence and fun! The brand has also released some exclusive behind the scenes polaroids of the shoot for you to enjoy.

Primark s/s 12

The Primarks s/s 12 collection has arrived and I was intrigued to see what the retail giant had to offer for the coming (hopefully) warmer spring months. Colour and prints are going to be a big wardrobe staple, and Primark has kept abreast of this trend by featuring cute summer dresses in punchy hues. Pastel colours also feature prominently, as do 70s style prints and zig-zags reminiscent of Missoni. Personally I like how the collection features both neutral wardrobe essentials that can be paired with a striking blouse, or punctuated by an embellished dressed. H&M Spring 2012

As a huge fan of H&M, I was excited to check out their spring 2012 collection which has been popping up on a few websites. Neutrals, whites and beiges are the focus of the colour palette, with nice bright hues to get you in that spring/summer mood (once the time comes around again!). Although this collection is slightly more minimalist than what I'd expect from H&M, I really love the colourful pieces, especially the lime-green dress and the sky-blue jumpsuit. I can't wait to shop these pieces when they hit the stores, although I'm sure that the biggest piece of H&M news that everyone is excited about is the impending launch of the Versace x H&M collection which drops on Thursday. Who is going to be setting up camp?!
