I really love the new direction menswear label Boxfresh are taking at the moment. Following on from the preview of their S/S 2011 collection which I attended last year, (see post here), and the really fresh and bright look of the clothes, the label has now introduced a men's premium footwear line. The colours are more neutral and mature, clean and sharp, marking the restructuring of the brand. The idea behind the line is that Boxfresh have given three of their most highly successful styles from their best selling range a bit of a makeover which includes the addition of features such as leather lining, leather laces and embroidered logos. The sole of the shoes has also been greatly improved with the addition of the new 100% natural crepe sole unit. All in all, these are the shoes to suit any guy, and especially these seem to move in the direction of more classic and timeless footwear from the brand. As if that wasn't enough, Boxfresh have also been announced as the official partner of the NME Awards 2011. The brand will be specifically sponsoring the Best New Band category, as well as having a general presence across the whole NME Awards season.
I'm particularly anticipating the women's footwear range which is due to come out towards the end of the summer so all I can say is, watch this space because I believe there are many more exciting things to come from this label!
