It was all about the luscious leathers this morning as Jayne Pierson sent models down the runway in patent black trenchcoats, structured dresses and glammed up hats. Black was the colour of choice for Jayne, who really tuned into a dominatrix-type look for A/W 2011. The models had dramatic hair and make-up and the female silhouette was really emphasised by Jayne, with figure-hugging shapes and sharp cuts and tailoring.
And it just so happened that I decided upon this Bruuns Bazaar dress for today (LFW seems to be becoming very dress-themed for me), which fitted perfectly into Jayne Pierson's aesthetic for the show. Leather and figure-hugging.
