Graduate Fashion Week Roundup

I was lucky enough to be invited to the UCA Rochester Graduate Fashion Show on Monday night where the mens and womenswear students showed off their final collections. There was a real mixture-from lots of bright popping colours, to muted tones and gothic themes. What struck me most though was the overall tendency in the collections for either covering the models' heads or for having large pieces of fabric cut out (e.g. from the back or from a maxi-skirt, for example). Maybe the Rochester students are setting some A/W trends? We ll just have to wait and see. Here are some of my favourites from the show:
