Last of the Summer Instagrams

Although it may only be August, for me the summer is officially over for another year. So, to celebrate a busy year ahead and plenty more outfit posting and blogging in the coming months, here is my last series of summer Instagrams to hopefully make you all reminisce about those long, warm days....

Summer Instagrams

It's the summer holidays and time to go a bit MIA...here are a few recent Instagram snaps from my time in Bulgaria. Hope to be able to get some more outfit posts up soon and that you guys are having an awesome summer break.

Barbados Instagram Diary

Here's a little bit of what I got up to in Barbados, in the form of an Instagram diary. This is fast becoming my favourite app, so sorry for all the Instagrammy posts!

Easter Instagram Diary

I haven't done one of these in a while, so here are my last few days/weeks in Instagram pics. Easter included lots of yummy food and chocolate eggs (as you can see, most of the pictures are of food!). The last two pics on the bottom right are from the Afghanaid charity fashion show (backstage), and the third from the top left is of one of the gorgeous H&M Conscious Glamour Collection dresses which I tried on yesterday. However, the price tag of €200 was a bit too steep for me! I did end up buying a bikini though (pictured below), for a beautiful destination which I will be going to on Saturday for a week....

Instagram diary part 2

I haven't done this for a while, and since it's way too cold still to be doing outfit posts, I thought I'd show you a few Instagram snaps of my past few weeks, which included snowy London weather, gorgeous lashes at The Village Bicycle event, romantic meals and, as ever, a lot of travelling.

Germany Instagram Diary

I've just got back from what feels like a very long weekend in the middle of the summer. Germany is something of a second home to me and it was so nice to have some days filled with friends, parties, sun and swimming :) So here's a little instagram diary I kept while I was there because a) my huge camera couldn't fit in my suitcase and b) my little camera decided it didn't want to switch on. If anyone has any suggestions for a compact camera, send them my way because I really want to get a new one before I head off to another magical destination in 10 days time....

My new suitcase from Primark. Lovely case, shame about the print-unfortunately I had two choices, zebra or leopard, so I went with the one I thought was less conspicuous....whether I succeeded is another matter...
The essentials of good summer packing: plasters, camera, an amazing book and a few summery dresses

Me well and truly tired after the last few days :)

Instant Mondays/Tuesdays

I'm completely obsessed with the Instagram/Hipstamatic app on my phone at the moment and so have decided to experiment this week a bit and see what interesting images I can capture. Here is a selection from the past couple of days, but I will definitely try and do some more fashion-inspired ones as well. I love the retro feel of the photos which at the same time, oddly enough, gives them a kind of timeless quality. Digital may provide sharper, more high quality images of course, but for me this remains a quirky way of being creative with photography.
